no ip not updating-10

urlencode($this-Could have sworn I'd used my no-ip account for testing since that commit.

Since I had problems with this script, for update IP address to No-IP DNS server I rewrite it to make compatible for Router OS version 6.7.

In my router I configured: And in My noip account i had: It works perfectly.

I can acess the router through cipade.smartwatt.net, but when the router reboots then it no longer works.

I use a Perl script as a daemon with LWP module to poll/parse the web interface of my DSL modem/router every 5 minutes and it logs to syslog hourly.

If my PPPo E IP changes, it just runs noip2 once to notify them to update and also posts the IP change to syslog. TTL is apparently 60 seconds (to expire from DNS cache), but not sure how often noip2 running as a daemon contacts them to grab your public IP.Shouldn't the router update the ip in the noip account?.header_background_full .header_background_slim .welcome-container .wlc-header .wlc-content .linksys-search-form .This script is based on the Dynamic DNS Update Script for DNSo # To specify multiple hosts, separate them with commas.:local noiphost "hostname.no-ip.net" # Change to the name of interface that gets the dynamic IP address :local inetinterface "your_external_interface" #------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ # No more changes need :global previous IP :if ([/interface get $inetinterface value-name=running]) do= else= --riverron , 18 March 2012 (UTC) Alternative script uses DNS Resolve and is based on an documentation Scripting-examples and documentation No-IP DNS Update API Can be modified for use with other Dynamic DNS services supported Re ST API. I have a D-Link DWR-512 router, which i need to create a dynamic dns, so i can access to the router throught the dns instead of the ip.
